ABC Wednesday ~ Q ~

This weeks letter is ...................Q

Q is for ...............Quiet.


Just the sound of the word quiet is somewhat soothing to me. I love the quiet. My favorite time of the night is after both kids have gone to bed, Ken is already sleeping, and I have some time to myself. All by myself in the quiet. No cell phones ringing, no TV blaring, no video game sounds, and no loud sounds of the kids. Just quiet.

I usually take this time by myself to read a book or have some computer time. Almost all of the lights are turned off in the house and the house is very still. The only sounds I hear are the humming of the air conditioner. Quiet.

I have no pictures of quiet. I could have taken a picture of our recliner in the front room. That's where I sit if I am reading a book late at night. Or maybe a picture of our back room. It looks so different in the quiet without the TV on or kids running around in it.

ABC Wednesday ~ P ~

This week P is for................ Paper Clips.

That picture is of the paper clips that sit on our computer desk. Almost on a daily basis little miss Katelyn like to take that glass jar and empty it on the ground. For some reason this is fun to her. She must like to watch me get mad and clean it up. She is probably laughing at me on the inside.

Sometimes its my fault. Like when I leave the paper clips where little toddler hands can reach them off of the desk. But other times the sneaky girl climbs up on the computer chair to get them and sprinkle the floor with them.

Needless to say, this is driving me insane. And there you have it- another peak into my life!

What a great week for O!



Tonight we visited our pumpkin patch so the kids could get their pumpkins.

This week's letter is N.



N is for Nap.

I am lucky enough that Katelyn is 2 years old and still taking about a 3 hour nap a day. I am dreading the day that she no longer naps. Naptime gives me some uninterrupted computer time, ( of course ), time to clean without someone messing right behind me, and most important- I sometimes take a nap too while she is down. So, dear Naptime- please dont leave anytime soon!!

M is for ( what else here in Florida??) Mickey Mouse!

We went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party two weeks ago and had a BLAST!!! The whole park was decked out in Halloween and fall decorations. So pretty!

This weeks letter is L.



"L" is for ........................ Little People PlayHouse

We got this for Katelyn for her birthday in August and she loves it. Loves it as in plays with it every single day still and for very long periods of time. It came with a mommy, daddy, and a baby. Katelyn holds the Little People up to each other to make them have little conversations that I dont understand.

The doorbell rings, the phone rings, the dogs and cats make noise too!!

Thanks Little People for keeping Katelyn entertained!!
