Yesterday
Yesterday...Katelyn spilled paint all over the kitchen table.....after I told her countless times to be careful.
Yesterday...Katelyn refused to go to the bathroom unless I was in there with her.
Yesterday...Gavin was in tears over his spelling words.
Yesterday...Katelyn took ALL of her clothes out of her dresser for a mid afternoon outfit change.
Yesterday...I tried a new recipe for dinner and it did not turn out right.
Yesterday...I made the mistake of taking both kids with me to WalMart...
Yesterday...Gavin and Katelyn decided to fight over who's arm and legs were closer to each
other in the car....THE. WHOLE. DRIVE. HOME.
Yesterday...Every time I let the puppy out he insisted on hiding in the bushes...making me crawl in there after him....EVERY...SINGE....TIME.
Yesterday...I lost my patience way to many times.
Yesterday...I yelled way to many times.
Yesterday...at 11PM I realized Ken didn't have any work shirts clean.
Yesterday...I went to bed and prayed to have more patience with my kids. Something I am running out of more and more lately.
Yesterday...As I was laying in bed I heard Katelyn sleeping through the baby monitor. I heard her laugh and giggle. She must have been having a wonderful dream.
Yesterday...After hearing my baby girl giggle in her sleep, I went to bed relaxed and ready for a new day.

Do We Need Milk? Ask Katelyn
One of Katelyn's favorite things to do is go grocery shopping with me. She asks me on an almost daily basis if we are going to Publix. I take her with me about 90% of the time since trying to shop and answer her zillions of questions don't really mix well together. And for the most part, Katelyn is very good in the store. She HAS to have to shopping cart that is shaped like a race car and "drives" the whole way around the store. She even makes sure the bananas are safe by putting the seat belt on them.
And she has become quite good at telling me what we need to buy. Even making her own lists to take with us.
She brings her list with us every time we go now for the past couple of months. She sits in the cart "reading" it as we go along. And when i say things like "Oh, we need cheese" Katelyn will say "yep, it was on my list mommy". Too cute.

Mom, look, I am starting to grow ALOT of hair on my legs!

after touching the pole WOW! That was so cool. I've never touched a United States of America pole before!
I really want to watch the new spiderman. Its on at 7 / 6 central.
Gavin: Mom, can we go to Canada for summer vacation?
Me: No way- its too far away.
Gavin: No its not. Just get on the interstate. It only takes 24 hours if you are on the interstate.
