Right Now

Its cold here. Tomorrow morning the temps should be in the 20's. I know, you all are thinking "welcome to my world". It hasn't been cold here since before Christmas. For the last 6 weeks we have been walking around in shorts and t-shirts. With the air on.

The thing I hate about cold fronts ( other than the cold ) is our lack of cold weather clothes. I have one long sleeved shirt and a couple pairs of long pants. That's it. The kids have probably 3 pairs of jeans and 3 long sleeved shirts. So when a cold front comes I am constantly doing laundry.

Right now Gavin cannot understand why I wont let him outside to play before dinner. He may not think its cold but I sure do. No way am I sitting outside to watch him ride his bike.

This weekend is Ken's birthday :) I rented a hotel to stay at on the beach for the weekend. My weather girl Katie assures me that the weather should be in the 70's by then. Let's hope so. I would hate not to be able to take the kids down to the beach!

Thanks for stopping by!

I so hear you. I do not own a pair of jeans. My girls have jeans, but they wear uniforms to school and do not own navy blue or khaki pants. I had to go buy them heavy wool tights to wear under their skirts. If I wanted weather like this I would have stayed in Michigan!

My son is driving me crazy, he won't even put on long pants but wants to go outside. This boy almost never even wears shoes so we were not prepared at all for this here. We are across the coast from you. Stay warm!

It's freezing in my part of the world (Michigan). It's sad to say, but I wish the temps would go up into the 30's. It's been in the single digits. Uggg! I wish I lived in your state.
